Netflix Stream Team: Going Book Crazy with Netflix

March Challenge:
March the 6th saw the arrival of World Book Day. If there's one thing that Lillibug loves, it's her books! It's gotten to the stage where instead of reading her a bedtime story, she reads to us instead.

Of her many, many books one of her favourites is her copy of "Tinkerbell: Look and Find" (above). This book keeps her attention more than any other. While she may be too young to find hidden objects, it's great for getting her to point out different body parts, different colours, and different items of clothing. Sometimes she gets to have a read of it before bed but we also give it to her some afternoons and if she's especially good, as a treat, we put on the "Tinkerbell" film (available to stream on Netflix).

For an extra special treat, and because she's such a big fan of "Tinkie" (in her words), we often put on her fairy wings, which we got with a copy of the "Tinkerbell" magazine, and a couple of smal…

I was recently tagged by Samantha over at All The Buzz Beauty, Lifestyle & Fashion Blog, I would highly recommend you go check her blog out it is brilliant. I love tags and can't help but do them so I hope you enjoy the questions and my answers and thank you Samantha for tagging me.

1. What are you wearing?
Fluffy grey jumper, fluffy pajama bottoms and fluffy socks. Yep I like fluffy. To me it equals comfy!

2. Ever been in love?
Oh yes and then I married him!

3. Ever had a terrible breakup?
Yes, and forgot all about it till I read this question (that says a lot).

4. How tall are you?
5ft 4 and maybe a bit.

5. How much do you weigh?
I haven't got an iota of a clue right now, and I'm too lazy to go weigh myself right now. I don't weigh myself on a regular basis, it is not important to me and I usually know by my clothes when I need to address any problems.

6. Any tattoos?
No. I know I couldn't live with one that's why, even if it is one that couldn't be seen I …

Afternoon Tea at Whites of Wexford

Our little Lillibug saved up her money before Christmas and as a pressie to Daddy and I she got us a voucher for Afternoon Tea at Whites of Wexford. Whites of Wexford is my little haunt I suppose you could say and love bringing Lillibug in for our odd cup of tea and scone. It's usually just the two of us and there's loads of room for the buggy and staff are so good with families, so it was the perfect pressie for us.

You get the most wonderful selection of sandwiches, homemade pastries, scones and preserves and all beautifully laid out on three tiers. You also get the option of herbal tea, breakfast tea or coffee to go with it! I also want to mention that I have allergies and when I explained about this they were happy to alter the sandwiches for me without hesitation. The table is also laid out with a beautiful white linen cloth just to add to the presentation.
Lillibug was given crayons and colouring pages to keep her occupied while we tried to make our way through the tier…

Review: Glamming It Up With PowderPocket

First up, apologies that I didn't bring you January's review. Time just flew away from me, but I will say that I was so impressed I continued my subscription and have no intentions to cancel anytime soon.

For those who have followed my blog for a long time you will know I used to be subscribed to Glossybox and cancelled with them back in December. The reason for this was because I found my money was going to waste on the same products and poor delivery time, so as a result the excitement went pretty quick. I love getting a surprise box and trying out new products so when I heard of PowderPocket and that they were Irish I knew that I was in for a real treat.

This months box was all about glamour and with it being Oscar season it was very apt! Delivery has been really swift on both occasions arriving by courier and me opening the door to the delivery man with sheer excitement.

The box itself is black and on both occasions the PowderPocket logo has been different colours (I love …

Stationery & Blog Organisation

I have a bit of an obsession when it comes to Stationery it goes way back as far as I can remember. I started my blog 9 months ago and went through way too many pens, notebooks, and folders, it all went out (major clutter happening) but then 2014 happened and I needed some organisation back in my life, so I went out and bought new stationery (well done me).

I like to keep track of everything!

Blog Ideas/Brain Storming Sessions (small notebook for handbag)Blog posts/ Reviews (Executive Notebook)Contacts, Events & Schedule for posts (Diary also for handbag, not pictured)Emails, Letter & Cards (folder)Anything LilliWhiteRose related (pink folder) I know that every single one of those can be done from my computer but I like to see it all in my own handwriting. I have always done this even back in school/work/home and now for my blog. When I put pen to paper I find my ideas come quicker and that I get a better flow. The computer can sometimes drive me crazy and just like to go back …

The Blogger Tag

I was recently tagged by Karen of Beauty Baggage Blog who created her own tag for us all to take part in. I love tags so of course I couldn't say no. These are really helpful to get to know more about the person behind the blog.

Only a few rules:
1. Answer all the questions below.
2. Tag fellow bloggers in post.
3. Link back to blogger who tagged you.
4. When you post a response and you are advertising it please use the hash-tag BloggerTag.

1. When did yo start blogging?
The 20th of May 2013 at 5am in the morning! I can't believe how close it is getting to it's first Birthday.

2. What encouraged you to start?
Firstly my hubby as he was already blogging, and I was itching to do something to keep my mind in working order so he kept asking me for about a year to set up my own. I finally caved and created LilliWhiteRose.

3. What was the first blog you ever actively followed?
I used to read quiet a few before I started but I can actually remember the very first one I came across an…

Play-Doh With Lillibug

I was recently in Tesco with Lillibug and I went looking over at the arts and crafts section to see about getting creative with my two year old. We came across Márla (for those not of our native tongue Gaeilge Márla is Irish for modelling clay and pronounce Maw-la) and knew there would be fun to be had.

I initially bought one tub for €1.99 just to see how Lillibug would get on. She absolutely loved it and most importantly didn't try to eat it. So back to Tesco we went and we got a tray of 10 tubs so our imaginations could go further.

Lillibug get's her tea set so we can make snacks and food out of the Márla (have to say our fried eggs looked good enough to eat). We are trying to get the hang of making animals at the moment which has been a blob of a disaster at times but we are having so much fun. We use a rolling pin to flatten out the Márla and use different size cups to make shapes.

Most importantly the Márla has been great for Lillibug's attention span and she is getti…

February Instagram

As always February came and went in a flash and I was a busy bee on Instagram. I was all about the chocolate last month especially as it was Valentines and I got loads. We got Márla (playdough) for Lillibug and she absolutely loves it and we are having great fun with our creations. Lillibug has also gotten into having her pic taken but only if she is wearing dresses.

I experimented with my nails and loved them so much that I kept the glittery tips for when I was bridesmaid. I also loved my hair for the wedding day and my dress was just out of this world that I didn't want to take it off. I also revealed myself with a selfie on Instagram so now you all know what I look like (I was so nervous to do that).

I reached 201 followers on Bloglovin' which made me do a great big jump for joy in the sittingroom and hit my knee of the corner of the couch in the process. Thanks for all your support.

Hope you like all the pictures and if you are also on Instagram leave me your link in the …

February Favourites

WOW! I can't believe it's March already, time is just flying by way too quickly. February was a great month full of wedding excitement as one of my best friends got married and she gave me the honour of being one of her bridesmaids. Congratulations to the newlyweds an can't wait till you get back from honeymoon.
So February was all about looking after my skin and keeping it in tip top condition, so products I had once loved but have been neglected have made a reappearance in my routine.
1. Soap & Glory The Scrub of Your Life: I forgot how much I loved this scrub, my skin always feels so polished and amazing after it. Some scrubs can feel really drying on my skin but this leaves it feeling hydrated.

2. Soap & Glory Butter Yourself Moisture Lotion: I love this lotion in the colder months when my skin feels zapped and it really is a great moisturiser, the only thing is I don't like the pump action packaging. The lotion is too thick and can be hard to pump out. The …
