Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two

Finally, after all these years we have more to the Harry Potter series. As a huge Harry Potter Fan, I, of course, had to hightail it for the midnight launch of "The Cursed Child". This, the official eighth story of the series although not a novelisation of the play (which I believe would have been better received by myself) was released at a midnight on the 31st of July. 

The play is based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne, yet as you read the script I can't feel the magic of J.K Rowling's writing. You need to be prepared while reading this to be the stage director. I'm used to reading scripts from my days of drama school and from secondary school so I was prepared and I knew what I was getting myself into buying the book, but that doesn't mean I can't be disappointed. Netflix: Stranger Things Review

On the 15th of July, we saw the release of Stranger Things. It's a mystery, sci-fi series consisting of 8 episodes. Over a course of two nights, myself and Kevin flew through all the episodes with the popcorn at the ready each night.

If you love the 80's pop culture you are going to love this too. I'm a huge fan of 80's films so knowing that Stranger Things was paying homage to that era and the works of Stevan Spielberg, Stephan King, and George Lucas I knew I was in for a treat.
The mixture of suspense and mystery was spot on leaving me wanting to know more and which way things would turn.
The storyline focuses on the relationship of four young boys, who are very reminiscent of The Goonies (1986), their families and community. When one of the boys mysteriously disappears the boys find "Stranger Things" begin to happen in their lives.
